Prior to implementing Turnitin Feedback Studio, Binus University was experiencing cases of academic misconduct including plagiarism, in which students were copying and pasting sources directly to their papers, without due credit. Binus sought a technology that ensures the speed and accuracy of similarity checking to reduce cases of plagiarism, as well as in preparation for scientific publication.
In this case study, we examine the implementation of Turnitin Feedback Studio at Binus University, a world-class university listed in the QS World University Rankings, which aims to further improve its education and research quality.
